18 Week Support is seeking experienced Dermatology Outpatient HCAs to support weekend insourcing clinics and NHS waiting list initiatives across dermatology services. You will assist clinicians, manage patient flow, and help maintain clinic documentation in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Recent, hands-on experience supporting dermatology outpatient clinics.
• Active work in this field for at least 6 months within the past 12 months.
• Experience as an NHS dermatology outpatient HCA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support outpatient clinics.
• Chaperone patients during consultations and examinations.
• Record patient observations when required.
• Assist clinicians during patient consultations.
• Support patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Provide patients with information and guidance as directed by the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Ensure clinics run safely and in line with local policies.
