Job summary

Sodexo Ltd. is hiring a cook for a fixed location at the National Probation Service site in Leicester. The role requires preparing and cooking high-quality meals for residents and staff, with autonomy to run kitchen operations and ensure safety and cleanliness.

The position is 12 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays 12:00–18:00, at £12.91 per hour. Applicants must be over 18 and have valid ID. This is a lone-working role in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cooking or catering is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare and cook meals according to scheduled menus for residents and staff.
• Manage your own schedule and kitchen operations with minimal supervision.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene in all areas.
