Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cleaning Operative to clean offices, classrooms, washrooms and accommodation blocks. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail and teamwork in a supportive environment.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across assigned areas.

• Report damaged equipment to your Manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive approach.
• Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Help maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Cleaning Operative to join our team and provide a high-quality cleaning service across a range of areas, including offices, classrooms, washrooms and accommodation blocks.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all assigned areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules, company procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in line with COSHH regulations.
• Report any damaged or defective equipment to your Manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive approach at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
• Help maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

What You Bring:

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety is desirable.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
• Experience working in a military environment is desirable.
