Zusammenfassung

Medirest, the hospital services arm of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Domestic Assistant to support infection control and keep the hospital clean, safe and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff. You will help deliver essential cleaning across wards, side rooms, toilets and public areas, following health and safety guidelines and working as part of a dedicated team.

The role offers weekend morning shifts (Sat and Sun) for about 10 hours per week, with a DBS check funded by the employer.

Qualifikationen

• Infection control duties to help keep the hospital operating.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors and healthcare staff.
• Willing to learn and go the extra mile for patients.
• No prior Domestic Assistant experience required.

Aufgaben

• High and low dusting, mopping, wiping and scrubbing surfaces.
• Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
• Maintain rubbish bins and remove waste when full.
• Keep areas clean, presentable and safe by following policies and procedures.
• Use equipment safely following Health & Safety guidelines.
• Work both independently and as part of a team with a flexible approach.
