Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at the Johnson Matthey site in Royston. This part-time role involves maintaining high cleanliness across offices, laboratories, welfare facilities, and communal areas in a busy industrial environment.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00am to 2:00pm, with a rate of £15.05 per hour. We value punctuality, attention to detail and a safe, professional approach to work, supported by health and safety procedures.

• Previous cleaning experience with a strong understanding of hygiene standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning across offices, laboratories, welfare facilities and communal areas.
• Maintain excellent hygiene, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and site-specific procedures at all times.
• Ensure cleaning equipment, supplies and storage areas are well maintained and fully stocked.
• Provide professional customer service and support team cover when required.
• Wear appropriate PPE, complete required records and participate in training and development activities.
