Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for the Johnson Matthey site in Royston. The role is part-time, with a Saturday and Sunday pattern from 7:00am to 2:00pm, in an industrial and scientific environment requiring high standards of cleanliness across offices, laboratories, and welfare facilities.

You will contribute to a safe and welcoming workplace, follow health and safety procedures, wear PPE, and support the team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning across offices, laboratories, welfare facilities and communal areas
• Maintain excellent hygiene, safety and housekeeping standards
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and site-specific procedures at all times
• Ensure cleaning equipment, supplies and storage areas are well maintained and fully stocked
• Provide professional customer service and support team cover when required
• Wear appropriate PPE, complete required records and participate in training and development activities
