Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Children's Support Worker to cover weekend shifts in the UK, delivering high-quality care across settings from elderly care to individuals with learning disabilities and more complex needs.

As a temporary Support Worker, you’ll follow care plans, assist with personal care, lifting, medication administration, meals, and companionship, helping service users maintain independence and dignity while enjoying flexible weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Weekend and afternoon/evening availability essential.
• Good standard of English and effective communication.
• Clear enhanced DBS; apply during registration.
• Full UK driving licence required; travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care and mobility.
• Follow care plans to maintain independence and dignity.
• Administer medication as required and monitor safety.
• Prepare meals and provide companionship and support.
