Job summary

Gilmerton Care Home in Edinburgh seeks a caring Care Assistant to join our close-knit team. You will support residents with daily routines, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, while encouraging independence where possible.

We offer days and night shifts, PVG/DBS paid, a pension and uniform. 5.6 weeks of annual leave based on a full-time contract, with a welcoming environment that values staff development.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work as part of a close-knit team.

Gilmerton Care Home, located in the peaceful south of Edinburgh, offers exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• 22 hours per week - Saturday & Sunday
• Dayshift and nightshift available
• Paid PVG/DBS, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
