Guthrie House Care Home in Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant (Nightshift) to join ALOR HEALTHCARE LIMITED. You will support residents during the night, assist with medication administration, and help maintain safety and high-quality care.

We offer full and part-time contracts, a two-week rolling rota, paid PVG, pension and uniform, and generous annual leave to help work-life balance. Previous care experience and SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care are desirable.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Experience within a care environment
• Medication administration experience is beneficial
• Confidence supporting colleagues and leading by example
• Good communication and organisational skills

Responsabilités

• Oversee nightshift operations and ensure safe, well-organised care
• Support residents with individual needs and provide guidance to colleagues
• Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records
• Respond to changes in residents’ wellbeing during the night
• Lead by example to foster a calm, compassionate nightshift team

Senior Care Assistant (Nightshift) Contract

• £14.50 per hour
• Full Time & Part Time
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Two week rolling rota provided in advance, helping you plan ahead and achieve a better work life balance
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
