Gilmerton Care Home in Edinburgh is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our close-knit team. You will help residents with daily routines, personal care and mobility, supporting nutrition and emotional wellbeing while encouraging independence.

We offer twilight shifts 8PM-10PM, 10 hours per week, paid PVG, pension and a uniform. A kind, patient approach and good teamwork are essential; previous care experience or SVQ2 in Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential.

Gilmerton Care Home, located in the peaceful south of Edinburgh, offers exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. Our home provides a warm, family-like environment with modern, comfortable living spaces, engaging activities, and personalised care plans. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• 10 hours per week - 8PM-10PM
• Twilight
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
