Job summary

Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch, Scotland, is hiring a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care and mobility needs. The role offers day and night shifts on a full-time or part-time basis, with PVG, pension and uniform provided.

We value compassion, teamwork and the ability to communicate well with residents and families. Prior care experience is welcome but not essential, and training will be provided to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and empathy when engaging with residents and families.
• Experience in caring for elderly or disabled is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow care plans, report changes, and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines (washing, dressing, toileting) and mobility.
• Provide personal care and support nutrition and hydration.
• Monitor wellbeing, report concerns, and support independence where possible.
• Work as part of a team to deliver compassionate, dignified care in a calm environment.

Campsie View offers a varied level of nursing care - whether this is just assistance with everyday living or more complex care needs for up to 90 residents, situated in the quiet area of Kirkintilloch.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and Part Time Available
• Dayshift and nightshift available
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
