Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Activities Assistant for a weekend role (16 hours across Saturday and Sunday, 10:00–18:00) at one of our care homes. You will create engaging, imaginative activities to enrich residents' daily lives and support independence.

No formal experience required; a fun, empathetic approach and a passion for helping others are key. Training and development are provided to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• No specific experience required.
• Must have a sense of fun and creativity.
• Ability to encourage and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver imaginative and varied activities for residents.
• Support an entertainment and activities programme including social events and outings.
• Help residents stay as independent as possible and engage with family and community.
