Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Activities Assistant to deliver imaginative and varied activities for residents in our care home. You’ll run social events, outings and in-house sessions designed to keep residents engaged and supported to live as independently as possible.

No prior experience required; a fun, creative, empathetic approach and a genuine interest in residents will help you succeed. Ongoing training and development are offered.

• Must have a sense of fun, creativity and the ability to encourage and motivate others.
• Enthusiastic and empathetic with a genuine interest in the people we support.
• Opportunity to develop skills through courses and training.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities for residents.
• Run an entertainment and activities programme including pastimes, social activities, outings and events.
• Help residents live as independently as possible and enhance involvement with family and community.
