Job summary

Recycling Lives Services is seeking a reliable Driver/Loader for WEEE collection across the West Midlands. The role combines driving, manual handling, and accurate administration at council HWRC sites.

You will build professional relationships with site staff, ensure correct waste documentation, and report daily activity to head office. Applicants should have a valid UK licence, be comfortable with lifting, and work across multiple sites with a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence (Category B) enabling driving a 3.5 tonne van.
• Comfortable with regular manual handling and lifting of bulky/heavy items.
• Good attention to detail, particularly for completing paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van safely and legally between collection sites.
• Load and unload TVs and electrical waste following manual handling procedures.
• Complete waste consignment notes and other documentation accurately at point of collection.
