Job summary

Runnymede Borough Council is seeking qualified HGV Waste Collection Operations Drivers to join our team. You will be part of the waste collection crew handling household, recycling, food waste, and trade waste operations while ensuring excellent customer service.

We value Health & Safety awareness, teamwork, and a proactive attitude. Experience with in-cab route software is beneficial, and a DBS check will be conducted as part of onboarding.

Experience using in-cab route software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate as part of the waste collection crew for household/ recycling/ food waste and trade waste operations.
Promote services and provide excellent customer care.
Assist loaders with vehicle washing and cab cleaning daily.
Complete paperwork and return to waste operations office.
Ensure round sheets and in-cab data are accurate and timely submitted.
