Job summary

KSB Recruitment is seeking a diligent Wedding Executive to join a prestigious hotel's sales and events team in Kent. You will coordinate weddings and social events, handle client enquiries and deliver exceptional experiences from the initial enquiry through to the big day.

This role suits someone with hotel or event sales experience and a passion for creating memorable occasions. The position offers a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, with a £13.50 hourly rate and a quarterly bonus for targets

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, wedding venue or events sales is essential.
• Experience coordinating weddings or social events.
• Strong sales, customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple enquiries and bookings simultaneously.
• Proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage wedding and social event enquiries from initial contact through to booking.
• Build relationships with couples and clients, understanding requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
• Conduct venue viewings and showcase the hotel's wedding facilities.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts and event documentation.
• Coordinate wedding arrangements and communicate details to relevant departments.
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout the planning process.
• Identify opportunities to maximise sales and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Attend occasional wedding fairs and off-site competitor visits.
• Support the wider sales and events team during busy periods.
