Job summary

KSB Recruitment seeks an Event Executive for a prestigious hotel in Kent. The role covers conferences, meetings, weddings and social functions, providing essential support to the sales and events team.

You will ensure smooth coordination, deliver excellent customer service and assist during peak periods. Previous hotel or events experience is essential for success in this busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, hospitality or events environment.
• Experience coordinating conferences, meetings, banqueting, weddings or events.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
• Flexible and proactive in supporting different areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support across the sales and events department.
• Coordinate conference and meeting requirements, ensuring all arrangements are in place.
• Provide event cover on days when conference and events management support is required.
• Support the wedding and social events team during busy periods.
• Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and ensure expectations are met.
• Prepare event documentation, function sheets and relevant booking information.
• Communicate event requirements with internal hotel departments.
• Assist with event planning, coordination and on-the-day delivery.
• Maintain excellent customer service and build positive client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to support additional bookings and generate repeat business.
