Job summary

De Vere Horsley Estate in East Horsley is seeking a Wedding & Events Supervisor to join our team. You will be at the heart of events, taking the lead on smaller events and supporting the management team with larger weddings, ensuring everything runs smoothly and guests have a memorable experience.

You will set up spaces, move equipment, supervise the team, and adapt to a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to help make each event a success.

We’re looking for a Wedding & Events Supervisor to join the team at De Vere Horsley Estate in East Horsley.

The role of Wedding & Events Supervisor is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll be right at the heart of our events. You’ll take the lead on smaller events and support our Events Management team with larger events and weddings, helping to make sure everything runs smoothly and our guests have a memorable experience.

You’ll be involved in setting up event spaces, moving tables, chairs and equipment, and clearing down afterwards, as well as supervising the team during events. You’ll lead by example, keeping an eye on the details and making sure our high standards are maintained throughout.

With many of our weddings and events taking place during evenings and weekends, you’ll work a variety of shifts, including some late finishes. You’ll be organised, adaptable and ready to get involved wherever you’re needed to help make each event a success.

• You’ll have previous experience within events or hospitality and be ready to take on more responsibility.
• You’ll enjoy a hands-on role and be comfortable with the physical aspects of setting up and clearing down event spaces.
• You’ll be organised with a great eye for detail and enjoy seeing an event come together.
• You’ll be confident supervising and supporting colleagues, helping everyone work together to deliver a great guest experience.
• You’ll be flexible and comfortable working a variety of shifts, including evenings, late finishes and weekends.
