Job summary

De Vere Horsley Estate is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team in maintaining impeccable cleanliness across 175 bedrooms and public areas at the East Horsley property. You will drive high standards, oversee rotas, stock and laundry counts, and play a key role in guest comfort and presentation throughout the hotel.

You will inspire a culture of warmth, manage a busy housekeeping operation and partner with other departments to ensure smooth servicing, while exemplifying professionalism

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping supervisor experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent organisation and time management to meet schedules.

Join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor at De Vere Horsley Estate – a 175 bedroom Hotel in East Horsley.

From meticulously clean rooms to thoughtful touches, you will check bedrooms on a daily basis, proactively addressing any housekeeping-related requirements to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. You will instill in your team the importance of paying attention to every detail, no matter how small, to create memorable moments for guests

As a Houskeeping Supervisor you will

lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth where colleagues feel appreciated and by building genuine relationships with your team members, you will create a sense of belonging, empowering them to take pride in their work. You will also support with administrative tasks such as stock orders, laundry counts and rotas to ensure the smooth running of the department,

Your Skills & Experience:

• You have previous experience in a similar role - Hotel housekeeping experience is desirable, but is not essential
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained throughout the hotel
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, prioritising tasks and managing work schedules to meet operational requirements
