Your role at BRE
As Website Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the performance, reliability, and security of our websites and web applications, ensuring an excellent user experience and supporting business growth. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations and digital strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of BRE’s websites and web applications
- Monitoring and improving site performance, uptime, and page load speeds
- Managing server infrastructure, security protocols, and CMS administration
- Coordinating and deploying technical website updates and upgrades
- Collaborating with developers, marketing and content teams to implement enhancements
- Tracking and analysing web analytics to identify improvements and report on KPIs
- Supporting SEO performance, including technical optimisation and search ranking metrics
- Providing technical support for incident resolution and user issues
What we are looking for
- Experience in roles such as Website Manager, Web Operations Manager, or similar positions with operational responsibility for site performance and reliability
- A background in tech-driven, commercial, or e-commerce environments where user experience and digital performance directly support business objectives
- Demonstrated experience operating at manager level, with decision-making authority and the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong technical capability across web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), analytics (Google Analytics 4), and web security protocols
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably D365), and CMS platforms
- Confidence using performance data to identify improvements and deliver measurable results
- Strong communication, problem-solving and coordination skills to support effective cross-functional working
- A relevant technical qualification or certification in web development, infrastructure, or a related field

Work Location Options
Hybrid – This role offers a mix of home and office working. You will need to be within commuting distance of our Watford office, as you will be expected to attend in person once per week.
