Office: London (hybrid 50%)

As the Website Manager in the Marketing Technology team, you will be responsible for managing the operations of our corporate website and ensuring its content and performance meet expectations. This role is crucial for maintaining the firm's digital presence, supporting business objectives, enhancing client engagement, and following industry best practices.

The ideal candidate should have significant experience with Sitecore platforms, SEO principles, reporting, and analytics. They should also be familiar with digital marketing and campaign design, possess a collaborative approach, and be skilled at training users on content creation and updates.

Working within a global team, you will handle technical support for both the front-end and back-end of the website, as well as content development and functional enhancements to help the firm achieve its growth strategy and improve the digital client experience.

This position requires strong technical expertise in website management and an understanding of current marketing tools and strategies for effective digital marketing campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities

Website content management:

  • Create, update, and maintain website content to ensure it aligns with the firm's branding and marketing strategies.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.

Performance monitoring and optimisation:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the public website to ensure its smooth operation, and effective role as the firm's digital front door.
  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools to track metrics such as traffic, conversions, and user engagement and make recommendations for improvement.

Digital marketing integration:

  • Support digital marketing campaigns to ensure the website plays an effective role as the interface for campaign traffic (from email marketing, LinkedIn and social media, PPC advertising, etc) to drive conversions for the business.
  • Collaborate with marketing, BD and communications team to ensure website content supports broader initiatives and campaigns.
  • Conduct regular user experience enhancement audits to identify and fix usability issues, ensuring the website is intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Implement personalisation and A/B testing using Sitecore XM Cloud's built-in tools to tailor content to different audience segments.

Technical management:

  • Work with developers, IT and marketing teams to manage technical aspects of the website, including bug fixes and feature enhancements.
  • Work closely with the IT team and vendors to ensure website security, hosting and technical stability.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage website enhancement projects on behalf of the marketing, BD and communications team ensuring that they meet goals in terms of the digital roadmap, timing and budget.
  • Leverage Sitecore XM Cloud's capabilities for content authoring, personalisation, and analytics to create high-converting websites.

In addition to:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve web marketing efforts.
  • Report on website performance and marketing campaign effectiveness to stakeholders.
  • Deliver training and provide guidance to internal teams, ensuring that non-technical staff can manage and update content effectively.
  • Develop website best practice guides and documentation to streamline processes and ensure consistency.
Education, Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science, information technology or related field.

Website management:

  • Experience in website management or digital marketing execution.
  • Knowledge of website platforms, infrastructure and technology.

Content Management Systems (CMS):

  • Experience with CMS platforms like Sitecore XM Cloud, WordPress, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and user experience (UX) best practices.

SEO and analytics:

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Ability to analyse website performance and make data-driven decisions to improve traffic and engagement.

Digital marketing:

  • Experience in digital marketing including email marketing, social media, PPC advertising, and content marketing.
  • Coordination with marketing campaigns to ensure website content aligns with broader marketing strategies .

Project management:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with marketing, design, IT and development teams.

Additional experience and qualities:

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues and improve website functionality.
  • Experience in conducting UX audits and implementing A/B testing for website optimisation.
  • Continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • A team player capable of building good working relationships and collaborating.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who brings positive energy.
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside of normal working hours/days as required.
