Our client is a fast-growing, PE backed SaaS business that serves a global professional audience. They are looking for a Website & Conversion Manager to take charge of their main website and turn it into a real driver of revenue and leads.
The site serves both business and individual customers, and the company has set an ambitious target for the share of revenue that should come through digital channels. You’ll sit at the centre of that goal. The role combines UX, front end development, conversion optimisation, copywriting and analytics. It suits someone who sees a website as a commercial engine rather than a place to publish content, and who gets satisfaction from using data and testing to deliver measurable growth.
The Role:
- Take ownership of the website’s commercial performance across business and individual audiences, with a prioritised improvement roadmap focused on acquisition, lead generation and online sales
- Improve self-serve journeys such as pricing, sign-up and checkout, and make sure new products can go live online quickly, with pages ready on launch day
- Design and refine user journeys and page layouts using wireframes, behavioural data, heatmaps and session recordings to find and remove barriers to conversion
- Run a structured, ongoing optimisation programme, including A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, forms, calls to action and purchase flows
- Write clear, persuasive copy for key pages, landing pages and campaign content, and manage the delivery of gated assets, resource hubs and event pages
- Build and manage pages in the CMS, create reusable templates and content blocks so the wider team can publish independently, and lead a platform migration
- Work with developers and external partners to scope and deliver improvements, while upholding standards for accessibility, site speed and mobile performance
- Own tracking and measurement in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, build dashboards in Looker Studio, apply multichannel attribution and report on the website’s contribution to leads, pipeline and revenue
About you:
- At least five years in website management, digital experience, CRO or a similar commercially focused digital role
- A proven record of improving high-converting websites, with measurable results from CRO work
- Strong UX and UI knowledge, including journey mapping, information architecture and wireframing
- Hands-on CMS experience with solid HTML, CSS and front end fundamentals
- Experience building a website from scratch or leading a major CMS migration
- Advanced GA4 and Google Tag Manager skills, plus Looker Studio dashboards and experience with testing or behaviour tools such as Hotjar, Clarity, VWO or Optimizely
- Experience managing agencies or developers on website projects
- Experience applying multichannel attribution and supporting self-serve journeys such as pricing pages, checkout and trials
- HubSpot Marketing Hub certification and GA4 certification
- Experience in both B2B and B2C or subscription environments
- HubSpot CMS experience
- Experience working in agile or sprint-based teams
- Experience using AI tools to support content creation or testing
To secure the top end of the salary range, you’ll have delivered measurable CRO and self-serve revenue growth, led a major website migration, and have advanced GA4 and HubSpot expertise.
We are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
