Cortirio Limited, based in London, is seeking a hands-on Signal Processing Research Engineer to help develop algorithms and embedded code for a wearable brain-imaging headset. The role focuses on modelling, measurement, and real-time data processing across interdisciplinary teams.

You will work in a small cross-functional team with engineers, doctors and scientists, using Python for data analysis and C/C++ for embedded software, while supporting hardware data acquisition and tools for data

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience modelling and measuring signal processing chains (algorithms, filters and detectors) in Python.
• Comfort developing C/C++ embedded code for data acquisition.
• Experience with electronics measurement and debugging for mixed signal systems.
• Ability to develop algorithms from first principles starting with data collection and analysis.
• Strong understanding of noise sources and compensation techniques.

Responsabilités

• Analysis of raw sensor data to design new algorithms.
• Prototype, test and validate new software for data acquisition and signal processing functionality
• Research and development of signal processing algorithms for noise reduction
• Design the signal processing architecture for a wearable, sensor array from raw ADC samples through to a final output image
• Trialling new sensors and/or measurement techniques to solve technical challenges
• Developing electronics and software for data acquisition as a part of a team
