Job summary

Gattaca is recruiting DSP Engineers at Engineer, Senior and Principal levels to join a highly skilled engineering team in the UK. You will design, model, simulate and optimise DSP algorithms for advanced wireless systems, collaborating with software, hardware and systems engineering teams to deliver robust technologies.

Successful candidates will have strong mathematical and signal processing backgrounds, with opportunities to mentor others, lead technical activities and influence engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate advanced digital signal processing algorithms.
• Model and simulate complex signal processing and communications systems.
• Analyse system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Develop innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems.
• Work collaboratively with software, hardware and systems engineering teams.
• Support integration, verification and testing activities.
• Produce technical documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to technology development and engineering best practice.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers (Senior and Principal levels).
• Provide technical leadership and direction on key projects (Principal level).
