Job summary

Schroders is seeking an Operations Transformation Partner on a 12-month contract based in Horsham, with some time in our London headquarters. You will bridge Wealth Operations with the group transformation agenda, ensure change is well understood, planned and adopted, and drive capability and AI-enabled opportunities to improve efficiency and control.

This role requires strong judgment, credibility and autonomy, representing the operational voice in planning and governance, and balancing pace

Qualifications

• Experience in transformation, change within financial services.
• Strong understanding of operational environments during major change.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and challenge delivery assumptions.
• Experience supporting readiness, UAT, training and post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Act as the transformation partner for Wealth Operations across the portfolio.
• Own and maintain the Operations change roadmap with dependencies and readiness milestones.
• Represent operational requirements in planning and governance for delivery decisions.
• Coordinate engagement across multiple projects with SMEs at the right stage.
• Support readiness, planning, UAT and training before go-live.
• Shape plans to protect service quality and adoption while reducing complexity.
• Develop understanding of current and target operating models across operations.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate Group-led transformation.
• Drive change within Operations and scale low-code/no-code/AI opportunities.
• Provide updates on readiness, progress, dependencies and decisions.
