Job summary

RBC Brewin Dolphin Cardiff is seeking a Director or Senior Director Wealth Manager to lead client growth, oversee relationships, and drive digital adoption within a trusted wealth-management framework.

You will develop new business while expanding existing client relationships, mentor teams, and execute the group business plan with a focus on net revenue growth and asset growth, leveraging a strong professional network.

Qualifications

• At least Level 6 CIB, CISI or CII; Level 4 can be considered with extensive experience.
• Significant experience within a wealth management role.
• Proven Relationship Management skills with ability to understand client needs and articulate solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of business sectors, market trends and financial products to inform clients.
• Acts as a role model and drives positive behaviours in team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growing client base and expand business with new and existing clients.
• Lead wealth advice interactions to understand clients' financial goals and ambitions.
• Drive growth by managing new business targets and contributing to the group plan.
• Articulate the full RBC proposition (investment, lending, cash, trust) to clients and connect them with specialists.
• Ensure clients are referred internally to the best-fit services.
• Guide clients through the advisory journey with other specialists as needed.
• Lead and mentor teams to support professional growth and service delivery.
• Drive performance management including goal setting and reviews.
