Job summary

Babcock at HM Naval Base Clyde, Helensburgh, is seeking a Waterfront Daywork Multi Skilled Operative to support frontline waterfront operations and ensure vessels, equipment and facilities remain operational, safe and mission ready.

The role offers full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, on site with security clearance requirements and a broad training scope across engineering support activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in waterfront or marine operations.
• Familiarity with safety systems and procedures.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support waterfront operations to complete tasks safely and on schedule.
• Follow established procedures and safe systems of work with high operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity.
• Work in accordance with health, safety and environmental requirements on site.
• Perform a range of operational and engineering support activities within your skills and training.
