Job summary

CHG Electrical is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across clean water and wastewater projects in Yorkshire. You will work with flow meters, level sensors, pressure transmitters, telemetry and associated equipment, diagnosing faults with hands-on problem solving.

The role offers a competitive salary, a company vehicle or car allowance, a performance bonus, and 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven instrumentation experience within water, wastewater or process environments.
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across clean water and wastewater assets.
• Diagnose faults and support PLC/SCADA interface checks and control-system integration.
• Ensure RAMS, design specs and WIMES compliance; maintain logs and handovers.
