Job summary

CHG Electrical seeks an experienced Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across water and wastewater assets. You will handle flow meters, level sensors, transmitters and telemetry, diagnosing faults and ensuring reliable readings.

With exposure to PLC/SCADA interfaces and collaboration with EICA engineers and commissioning teams, you’ll contribute to project delivery and site handovers while progressing towards senior instrumentation or EICA roles.

Qualifications

• Proven instrumentation experience within water, wastewater or process environments.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Instrumentation, Electrical, Controls or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation, telemetry and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across clean water and wastewater assets.
• Diagnose faults and support PLC/SCADA interface checks and control-system integration.
• Work to RAMS, WIMES and water-industry standards with accurate records and handovers.
• Collaborate with EICA engineers, project managers and commissioning teams.
