Job summary

Detectronic is seeking an Assistant Field Service Technician to join our Field Services team in Lancaster. You will install, calibrate and maintain Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network, predominantly in the North of England, with some UK travel.

You will work safely as part of a small crew, often in confined spaces, and hold a full clean UK driving licence. The role is permanent, full-time and offers competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence, held for at least 2 years.
• Ability to work safely in confined spaces and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
• Hands-on and practical approach to installing and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and maintain Detectronic’s Smart Flow and Level monitors on-site.
• Work as part of a two- to three-person crew, often in confined spaces.
• Diagnose problems and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
• Travel within the North of England and potentially to other UK locations as needed.
