Job summary

CHG Electrical is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across clean water and wastewater assets as part of our MEICA delivery team.

You will work with flow meters, level sensors, pressure transmitters and telemetry, diagnose faults, and collaborate with EICA engineers and commissioning teams. The role offers a path to senior instrumentation or EICA engineering within a growing contractor.

Qualifications

• Proven instrumentation experience within water, wastewater or process environments.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Instrumentation, Electrical, Controls or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and telemetry systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across water assets.
• Identify faults and support PLC/SCADA interface checks and integration.
• Ensure RAMS, design specs, WIMES compliance and accurate handovers.
