Job summary

JN Bentley seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a £40m wastewater infrastructure project within a long-term Tier 1 capital delivery framework in the water sector. You will be accountable for safety, programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction, leading end-to-end delivery from concept through handover.

The role requires strong civil engineering credentials and extensive experience in major programmes, with leadership of large, multi-disciplinary teams and Tier 1

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience delivering major civil engineering or water sector programmes >£25m annually.
• Proven leadership of large, integrated teams and Tier 1 supply chains.
• Strong commercial acumen with NEC contracts, change control and cost management.
• Excellent communication skills at client and internal levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide full lifecycle leadership from concept to handover.
• Lead delivery of a complex, multi-workstream project within a regulated environment.
• Establish robust governance and compliance with framework requirements.
• Act as senior point of escalation for project performance.
• Own commercial strategy and manage procurement, change control and forecasting.
• Build trusted relationships with client, regulators and stakeholders.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multi-disciplinary project team.
