Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead on major Water & Wastewater projects across Greater Manchester and Lancashire for United Utilities. You must have significant site leadership experience in this sector, with a background in Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors working on water authority schemes.

Qualifications

Experience as General Foreman/Site Supervisor in Water/Wastewater.
UK Water Authorities project exposure preferred.
CSCS and SMSTS qualifications required.

Responsibilities

General management of all construction and civil engineering activities.
Daily allocation of plant, labour, and materials.
Coordination of site activities, including subcontractors.
Management of the workforce on-site to ensure safe working methods and minimal environmental impact.
Ensuring deliveries are stored in a safe area to prevent injury to the public and staff and to avoid plant damage.
Ensuring the correct PPE is available and used.
Assisting in method statement production.
