Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a major wastewater infrastructure project in Hertfordshire. The role focuses on hands-on setting out, surveying and delivering civil works on site while mentoring junior engineers and supporting the delivery team.

The candidate should have strong practical site experience on wastewater treatment/real-world interfaces and be comfortable working within a dynamic construction environment as the scheme progresses.

Qualifications

• Wastewater experience on live or operational sites is essential.
• Significant hands-on setting out experience on civil works.
• Able to mentor junior engineers on site.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for civils, excavations, structures and associated infrastructure.
• Maintaining accurate site records, QA documentation and as-built information.
• Supporting deep excavations, sheet piling and structural works on site.
• Collaborating with Site Agents, supervisors and subcontractors to drive delivery.
