Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) invites applications for a Project Leader to manage design and build projects for water and wastewater schemes across the Bournemouth, Poole and South Dorset region. The role combines design engineering with project management, supporting career progression towards chartership.

Qualifications

• Accredited Degree in Engineering - Civil, Mechanical, Process or Electrical.
• Incorporated Engineer with appropriate professional membership.
• Outline and detailed design experience of water or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of the Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from outline to detailed design and through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modellers and technical specialists.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and promote a collaborative “one-team” approach with clients.
• Ensure designs meet programme, budget and quality requirements across frameworks and specs.
