Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer in Tamworth to join a growing consultancy focused on water and wastewater infrastructure. You will contribute to design and delivery across multidisciplinary teams, using CAD and hydraulic principles to develop practical civil solutions.

Offering a salary of £38,000–£55,000, discretionary bonus, pension, 25 days’ holiday and life insurance, with flexible working and professional membership support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil design for water or wastewater projects.
• Proficient with CAD and engineering software.
• Understanding of water infrastructure and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of CDM and UK health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support civil design across water and wastewater projects.
• Develop designs and technical information using CAD and software.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Apply water engineering principles and hydraulics to designs.
• Ensure compliance with UK health and safety standards (CDM).
• Liaise with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to safe, robust design solutions.
