Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is looking for a Civil Engineer in Tamworth to support the design and delivery of water and wastewater projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical civil infrastructure solutions and gain exposure to a growing consultancy.

Requirements include a degree in Civil Engineering and experience in civil design, CAD and relevant software, plus an understanding of water infrastructure and UK CDM health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Civil design experience, ideally in water or wastewater.
• CAD and relevant engineering software experience.
• Understanding of water infrastructure and hydraulic principles.
• Knowledge of CDM and UK health and safety requirements.
• Chartered status or a plan to pursue ICE, CIWEM or IoW Chartership.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

A growing engineering consultancy is looking for a Civil Engineer to support the design and delivery of water and wastewater projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will work alongside other engineering disciplines, developing practical civil infrastructure solutions while building your technical and project experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support civil design across water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Develop designs and technical information using CAD and relevant engineering software
• Work with multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery
• Apply water engineering principles and hydraulic considerations to design
• Ensure work complies with BMS, CDM and relevant UK requirements
• Liaise with colleagues, clients and project stakeholders
• Contribute to safe, practical and technically robust design solutions

Candidate Requirements
