Job summary

Grundfos GmbH in the UK is seeking an Associate Sales Engineer, Water Utility UK, to manage and grow key Water Utility accounts across the UK, from technical pump selection and accurate costing to securing project awards and ensuring seamless order handover.

You will join a diverse, inclusive culture and be based around the South and Southwest regions, with hybrid/home working options and a focus on collaboration with Finance, Engineering and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of Water Utility processes, systems and UK regulations
• Ability to perform pump set selection calculations and ensure accurate costing
• Experience in technical sales or account management in industrial/utilities environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop Water Utility customer base from quotation through to award
• Perform pump set selection calculations for client applications
• Ensure accurate costing aligned with pricing strategy and targets
• Register and nurture activities and opportunities in the CRM
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Business Development and Customer Service on account management and order processing
• Ensure proper documentation handover to Customer Service and Engineering during order processing
