Consult in London is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead the water utilities domain across bids, solutions and client discussions. You will shape offerings, engage with CIOs and enterprise leaders, and ensure technology approaches align with regulatory and asset management priorities.

The role requires deep delivery experience in IT services for UK water companies, with upsell and governance capabilities across data, cloud, and IT operations.

Qualifikationen

• Ten or more years in an IT services or systems integration company delivering to UK water utilities.
• Hands-on delivery accountability as a programme manager, delivery lead, engagement manager, solution architect or domain consultant on data platform and analytics; enterprise asset management; customer, billing and CRM; GIS and mobile workforce; cloud migration and IT operations.
• Water sector fluency: knowledge of Ofwat, AMP cycle, C-MeX and regulator landscape.
• Bid experience from the supplier side: authored or led water/utility tenders.
• Clear writing and confident challenge in UK English.

Aufgaben

• Shape offerings around water use cases: leakage analytics, pressure analytics, pollution monitoring, asset health modelling, and IT operations for a 24x7 estate.
• Own the water application landscape view (EAM, work/field management, GIS, telemetry/SCADA, billing/CRM) and data integration points.
• Act as domain authority in solution reviews and translate regulatory changes (PR24, AMP) into technology implications.
• Lead discovery workshops and executive conversations with water company technology leaders and programme directors.
• Bring insider perspective on how water IT functions buy, govern and measure suppliers.
