Job summary

Future Select Recruitment are seeking a Water Treatment Service Chemist for Coventry and surrounding Midlands areas. You will perform testing on cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers, service ROs and water treatment components, dose chemicals and calibrate equipment.

You’ll provide technical guidance to clients and produce comprehensive reports. Maintain strong client relationships, meet deadlines and help identify commercial opportunities for Account Managers and Directors.

Qualifications

• Track record as a Water Treatment Service Chemist.
• Robust knowledge including HSG 274 and ACOP L8; HTM 0301 knowledge advantageous.
• Strong communicator with good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Experience managing key client accounts advantageous.
• Flexible to travel to meet company needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing/analysis on cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers.
• Service on systems/components including ROs, water softeners and CLO2 units.
• Chemical dosing on systems and calibrating equipment.
• Provide technical advice directly to clients and produce reports.
• Work to deadlines and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify commercial opportunities and report to Account Managers/ Directors.

Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist

Location: Coventry, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £30k - £45k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading name within the Water Treatment industry, who have a national presence and excellent reputation. They are seeking a highly experienced and professional Water Treatment Service Chemist, ideally within the Midlands region. Candidates must be proficient in using a test kit on process water systems (cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers), in addition to holding robust technical knowledge. Our client is able to support training in addition to development into Account Management for the right candidate. Salaries on offer are attractive, and benefits include: company vehicle, fuel card, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Track record working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist

• Identifying any potential commercial opportunities and reporting into Account Managers / Directors
