Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Service Engineer in Dudley, covering Midlands sites including commercial, industrial and healthcare environments.

You will install and service UV filtration, water treatment units, and carry out testing to ACOP L8/HSG 274 guidelines, with a company vehicle and ongoing training provided. Travel to client sites across the Midlands may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in the Water Treatment industry.
• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Ability to travel and work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Install and service UV filtration, chlorine dioxide, water softener and RO units.
• Fit dosing pots and modify pipework as needed.
• Test and analyse on steam boilers and cooling towers with test kits.
• Modify and replace pipework; repair unvented cylinders.
• Perform TMV replacements; disinfect cold water tanks and cooling towers.
• Fault-find on site and recommend repairs.
• Produce regular technical reports.
• Provide technical advice to clients.
• Meet deadlines and project scopes.

Job Title: Water Treatment Service Engineer

Location: Dudley, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £45k + Training & Benefits

A leading name within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry is seeking a multi-skilled Water Treatment Service Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good hands-on experience with plumbing works, equipment servicing / instllations and will be well-versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines. You will predominantly be servicing commercial, industrial and healthcare sites across the Midlands, but may be required to travel further when the company requires further support. Experience / Qualifications

• Strong track record working in the Water Treatment industry
• Ideally will hold plumbing qualifications, i.e. NVQ Level 2 Plumbing, G3 Unvented, Plumbing Diploma
• Excellent technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• It would be advantageous to hold Electrical Installations qualifications / experience
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Able to work independently on site
• Proficient using IT software
