This client based water treatment company is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and competent Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer to work for them on a variety of contracts in the South East region. Applications from Southampton, Portsmouth, Guildford, Reading and the surrounding areas will be considered. Our client would also look at someone with limited experience who wants to develop.

Qualifications & experience:

• Ideally, the applicant would have some experience in Pre -Commissioning.
• Will come from a strong chemical and water treatment background.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience of working within the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• The necessary supervision will be given to anyone not having the full range of experience.
• Carrying out pre-commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Ensuring flow rates.
• Completing flushing works.
• Dosing – CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
• Chemical and tank cleans.
• Carrying out chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Collating and producing accurate reports and schematic drawings.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance to ACOP (8) guidelines.
