Job summary
TRS Consulting Services Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Controls & Automation Engineer to lead EICA activities on water treatment projects in the UK. You will oversee low voltage switchgear, MCCs, electrical installation, software control systems and process instrumentation with a focus on safety and QA.
Ideal candidates bring extensive EICA expertise, hands-on site experience, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules while delivering high-quality, reliable
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Electrical Instrumentation Controls & Automation (EICA) for water treatment projects.
- Proven capability in MCC, switchgear, and motor control centre selection and procurement.
- Skilled in software control systems, URS development, and operator interfaces.
- Experience with QA procedures, safety, and site installations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all EICA aspects from design to commissioning on water projects.
- Develop load schedules, instrument schedules, and equipment specs.
- Review subcontractor drawings against client and VWT specs.
- Conduct FATs and on-site inspections/testing of electrical equipment.
