Job summary
TRS Consulting Services Limited is seeking an experienced EICA Electrical Instrumentation Controls & Automation Engineer to work on water treatment projects in Birmingham and the West Midlands. You will own all EICA aspects across municipal and industrial sites, including MCCs, switchgear, electrical installation, software controls, instrumentation and workflow interfaces.
The role offers £60k–£65k plus a company car or car allowance, healthcare, contributory pension and extensive product
Qualifications
- Technical aspects for MCC procurement, cabling and systems integration.
- Develop load schedules and equipment specifications.
- Create URS for software following process design.
- Review subcontractor drawings against client specs.
- Perform technical bid evaluations and FATs.
- Inspect electrical equipment and ensure QA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead EICA design and commissioning across water projects.
- Oversee MCCs, switchgear, electrical installation and control systems.
- Develop and review URS and software interfaces.
- Visit sites for client meetings and occasional supervision.
- Support tendering in all EICA aspects and budgeting.
- Ensure safety and QA compliance in field work.
