Job summary

NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) seeks a Treatment Works Controller to operate and maintain water treatment assets across the Essex area. You will analyse data, adjust processes, and perform plant checks, providing a 24/7 service to customers in all weather conditions.

Applicants should have good IT skills, be able to interpret information to identify issues, and hold a full driving licence. Training will be provided for technical aspects of the role.

• Good IT skills and ability to analyse and interpret information to identify process issues.
• Strong focus on quality and data interpretation to optimise asset performance.
• Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks in all conditions, indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control key Water Treatment Assets across the Essex area.
• Conduct routine water quality analysis and adjust treatment processes.
• Monitor, control flow rates, carry out plant checks and maintenance tasks.
• Carry out data validation on instrumentation and maintain records.
