Job summary

NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) is seeking a Sampler Technician to join our Water Sampling Operations in Chelmsford. You will travel across Essex to collect drinking water samples, perform chlorine checks and carry out water quality testing to ensure safety and compliance.

The role is full-time (37 hours) with a salary of £26,180–£30,800 depending on experience, and requires a valid UK driving licence. DBS and pre-employment drug tests may be required as part of the offer process.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of water sampling regulations and standards.
• Ability to follow sampling procedures and maintain accurate records.
• UKAS-accredited laboratory environment experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Travel across Essex collecting drinking water samples.
• Carry out chlorine checks and water quality testing.
