Job summary

Stonbury is seeking a SSSTS Site Supervisor to manage clean water site works in the Lincoln area. The role offers £173.25 per day with opportunities for price work and travel/overnighters as part of the job.

You will oversee site set up, resource management, PPE compliance, and safety inductions, reporting to the Project Manager and liaising with the site team to keep projects on schedule. Applicants should have SSSTS, CSCS (Blue) and EUSR Water Hygiene, plus on-site supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• CSCS Blue card or willingness to obtain
• EUSR Water Hygiene Card or willingness to obtain
• Certificate in Confined Spaces or willingness to obtain
• SSSTS or willingness to obtain
• Experience of working on-site, in a supervisory capacity
• Ability to lead a small team and work alone with initiative
• Self-motivation and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces safely
• Initiative in health & safety matters and reporting relevant issues
• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with site preparation including unloading materials and storage
• Review site setup day documentation and ensure safe working methods
• Ensure PPE is used by the whole team
• Report defects in tools and equipment
• Plan and delegate tasks to optimise project completion
• Coordinate with Project/Site Coordinator to meet schedules
• Ensure welfare facilities are used properly
• Maintain safe, tidy work environment and PPE compliance
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks on safety
• Safely manage machinery and materials and arrange timely off-hire of equipment
• Review reports and forecasts to stay up to date with progress and manpower
