Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Project Management team. You will lead or contribute to delivering water-related capital projects across the North, Midlands and Scotland, coordinating with senior colleagues and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Role requires NEC contract experience, collaboration across multiple organisations, and strong client relationships. We offer hybrid working options and a pathway to grow within a global infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a consulting PM role
• Knowledge of NEC PSC and ECC contracts
• Experience in integrated, multi-organisation teams
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work with Senior PMs and Associates
• Team player with proactive, flexible attitude
• Excellent numeracy and IT skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in the delivery of water projects as part of a PM team
• Provide client-side PM support through all lifecycle stages
• Attend meetings, minute, assist with procurement strategies and tender docs
• Engage with client, contractor and stakeholders to stay within scope
• Manage project team resources, schedules and quality
• Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams
• Support business development with existing and new clients
• Provide NEC contract management and guidance to projects
• Advise on procurement strategies and tender documentation
• Mentor Graduates and Apprentices in delivery practices
