Job summary

AECOM in the UK is seeking Project Managers with a water-sector background to join our Infrastructure Project Management team across the FRAM programme. The role covers the full lifecycle from inception to site delivery, on NEC4 contracts, with opportunities to mentor Graduates and Apprentices.

You will lead client-side projects, manage risk, quality, and schedule, support procurement, and develop strong client relationships while coordinating diverse teams across multiple regional offices.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of proven experience in a consulting environment providing full PM services including chairing meetings, minuting, developing the PEP, progress reports and tender documentation.
• Degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction or related subject.
• Understanding of NEC suite of contracts (PSC and ECC) and ability to work with NEC-based frameworks.
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-side project management for capital investment projects across lifecycle stages.
• Coordinate and deliver projects within agreed timescales, quality, and budget.
• Support procurement strategies, tender documentation, and NEC contract administration.
• Mentor Graduates and Apprentices and develop cross-functional teams.
