Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary water sector projects in Scotland, with Glasgow/Edinburgh/Perth offices. You’ll drive feasibility, design, construction support and commissioning from concept to completion.

We value experience in consultancy/engineering, knowledge of NEC PSC contracts, and strong digital collaboration skills. The role supports hybrid working arrangements across Scotland and requires security clearance checks where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Security clearance checks may be required.
• Experience managing projects in consultancy, engineering or infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects in line with client and AECOM requirements.
• Coordinate project scope, schedule, resources and risks.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
• Support and develop team members, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Manage project commercial performance, including forecasting, costs and cash flow.
• Ensure effective contract administration and quality delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers where required.
• Support business development through proposals, client engagement and future opportunities.
• Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture.
